Finally the occasion...
MONTECARLO: Finally the occasion,
with perfect acoustics in the Princess Room at the Grimaldi Forum,
to listen to the protagonists of so many Torre del Lago operas. One
Carla Maria Izzo in great vocal form, and one Andrea Bocelli,
perfectly cast in the role, have drawn a truly quintessential
applause from the three thousand spectators that filled the Grimaldi
Forum. Princess Caroline was present at the concert and at the gala
supper that followed Madame Butterfly, held on the modern and
minimalist royal stage in the principle room of the auditorium. (...)
also beautiful is Bocelli’s execution, more mature and
perfectly at ease in the love duet of the first act.

Une Carla Maria Izzo en grande forme vocale et un Andrea Bocelli
parfaitement glissé dans le rôle ont arraché aux trois mille
spectateurs qui emplissaient le Forum Grimaldi une véritable apothéose
d'applaudissements. La princesse Caroline, qui a suivi Madame
Butterfly depuis la moderne et minimaliste loge royale de la salle
principale de l'auditorium, (...) belle également l'exécution
de Bocelli, toujours plus mûr et parfaitement à son aise dans le
duo d'amour du premier acte.
