- Es gab keine Anzeichen von Frühling
in Kopenhagen am vergangenen Freitag ... es war bewölkt und es
wehte ein eiskalter Wind. Aber kurz bevor das Konzert begann, kam
die Sonne heraus und wärmte, genauso wie später am Abend Andreas
Stimme die Herzen der Zuschauer im Forum erwärmte!
Aber es dauerte ein wenig, bis das Publikum seine Begeisterung
zeigte, dann vor allen Dingen im zweiten Teil des Konzerts.
Die Show begann mit dem Triumphmarsch aus Aida, Maestro Eugen Kohn
leitete das Stockholm Concert Orchestra mit viel Engagement, der Sølvguttene
Chor war ein wenig überfordert mit diesem Teil.
Andrea begann mit einem atemberaubenden "Quel vino è generoso"
aus Cavalleria rusticana, nachdem ihn ein kräftiger Applaus auf die
Bühne begeleitet hatte.
Der erste Teil enthielt klassische Arien aus Rigoletto und Il
Trovatore, beide mit einem gaaanz lang gehaltenen letzten Ton - großartig!
- aus Carmen (Gianfranco Montresor - beeindruckend) und Gianni
Schicchi (wunderbar von Paola Sanguinetti).
Zuletzt das Schlußduett aus Andrea Chenier, sehr sentimental und
doch bezaubernd!
Nach der Pause Songs aus Incanto, ein wunderbares "Funiculi
Funicula", Andrea zusammen mit Paola Sanguinetti und Gianfranco
Montresor.
Schließlich "Canto della Terra" und schon als Zugabe,
"Can` t help falling in Love" mit Heather Headley, das
absolut phantastisch war, Standing Ovations und große Begeisterung
im Publikum. Die anderen zwei Zugaben waren "The Prayer"
und das wie immer letzte Lied "Time To Say Goodbye". Großer
Beifall am Ende.
Es war eine nette Idee, passend zu den jeweiligen Arien und Liedern
Videos im Hintergrund der Bühne zu zeigen, sehr schön.
Allerdings war der Ton für meinen Geschmack zu laut - wie immer bei
diesen Arenakonzerten. Und wieder war es nicht erlaubt, Fotos während
der Aufführung zu machen.
Einmal mehr war es ein wunderbares Erlebnis, Andrea zu sehen und
seine unglaubliche Stimme zu hören.

- There was no idea of spring in
Copenhagen last Friday...it was cloudy and there was a nasty cold
wind. But, shortly before the concert started, the sun came out and
warmed, the same way as later the evening Andrea`s voice warmed the
hearts of the people at the Forum!
But it took a little bit time, until the audience showed its
enthusiasm, especially in the second part of the concert.
The show started with the Triomph Chorus from Aida, Maestro Eugen
Kohn conducted the Stockholm Concert Orchestra with much engagement,
the Solvguttene Choir was a bit overwhelmed with this part.
Andrea started with a breath-taking "Quel vino è generoso"
from Cavalleria rusticana, after a strong applause has accompanied
him on stage.
The first part included classical arias from Rigoletto and Il
Trovatore, both with a veeery long last tone - great! - from Carmen
(Gianfranco Montresor - impressive) and Gianni Schicchi (wonderful
from Paola Sanguinetti).
At last the final duet from Andrea Chenièr, very sentimental and
sooo magical!
After the intermission songs from Incanto, wonderful the "Funiculi
Funicula" , Andrea together with Paola Sanguinetti and
Gianfranco Montresor.
Finally "Canto della Terra" and, already as encore, "Can`t
help falling in Love" with Heather Headley, which was
absolutely phantastic, standing ovations and great enthusiasm in the
audience. The other two encores were "The Prayer" and the
always final song "Time To Say Goodbye". Great applause at
the end.
It was a nice idea to show videos at the background of the stage,
always suitable to the arias and songs, very beautiful.
The amplification, for my taste, was too strong, too loud - as
always at these arena events. And again it was not allowed to take
photos during the performance.
Once again it was a wonderful experience to see Andrea and to listen
to his incredible voice.
