- "This
picture, which I haven't looked at in years,
brings back a flood of my most cherished
Bocelli memories! This was taken at
the Michigan Opera Theater, backstage just
after Andrea's opening night performance of
Werther. It was also taken literally
minutes before the first time I had the
honor of meeting Andrea in person. But
I simply didn't know that at the time.
In this encapsulated moment, the dream of
meeting him was only just that... one of my
most cherished dreams. And moments
later it was magically, unexpectedly
fulfilled. Which only goes to show
that one can never know what changes, both
wonderful and tragic, the next moments in
life may bring.
This incredible experience, along with so
many others, was only made possible because
Mickie Morgan counted me among her friends.
Mickie, amica mia, I will be forever
grateful."
