from Haiti, a project supported by the Andrea Bocelli Foundation.
The event was hosted by World Childhood Foundation, The Permanent
Mission of Sweden to the UN, The Permanent Mission of Italy to the
UN and the Andrea Bocelli Foundation.

“The
Music of Silence”, the movie based on the life of
Andrea Bocelli is produced these days in
Italy
!
Antonio Banderas
(“Once Upon a Time in Mexico,” “The
Expendables 3”), Toby Sebastian (“Game of
Thrones”) and Jordi Molla (“Bad Boys II,” “Riddick,”
“Blow”) will star in this movie “The Music of
Silence,” based on the life of Andrea Bocelli, and
his memoires of the same title. The film is being
directed by Academy Award® nominee Michael Radford
(“The Postman,” “The Merchant of Venice”).
This film will feature songs that Bocelli composed
when he was young but have never before been
released.

In April
Andrea and his family have been to Haiti to
visit some of their precious projects of the
Andrea Bocelli Foundation. During the mission
in Haiti Maestro Bocelli with ABF and
Fondation St Luc's teams met Voices of Haiti
Choir members and their families, sharing
together a joyful moment. Maestro Bocelli took
the opportunity to remind the value of
aggregation and universal union that music is
capable of creating. He continued greeting
everyone and inviting the young singers to
join him on the stage at the concert of the
Teatro del Silenzio taking place on August
3rd, in Lajatico, Italy, birthplace of the
Maestro. For the children of the choir, after
the debut in New York last September, it's
time to open themselves up to a new and
